I got a call the other day from a lovely lady called Francesca, both her and her husband (frank) own a kennel in NSW called Itacor. This kennel produces one of the most fantastic (in my opinion) breeds of dogs, the Italian Cane Corso (Corso for short).
I must say I was a little surprised when I heard from her as it was over 4 weeks since I have sent my application for a puppy. she advised me that they have just had a litter that is 3 weeks old and they are looking for homes, as I have just had a child I took a day to think about it and was going to call her back, unfortunately me and my partner decided that a price tag of about $2000 including transport for a de-sexed pet was a bit to much this time around (not that I think the dog cost to much, I would be willing to pay that any day, only problem is I don't have a spare $2000!!!)...
but I suggest that anyone that likes guardian breeds (Rottweilers, Grate Danes, Dobermans etc) have a look at corsos! go to http://www.itacor.com.au

All in a days work

I drew this a few months back... the whole idea of me drawing it was to try to get the idea that we make people like murderers and hitmen and the such look "cool" or like a "hero" my picture is not trying to do that, its trying to do the opposite...

horrific truck crash

the other night I was in a car with a mate. we where driving along a quiet street in one of the forests near the foothills, and we cane across an accident involving a crash... its hard to explain the emotions that com over you, you feel like crying hysterically but some how feel forced to help as much as possible... there was hundreds of victims it looked like 2 bus fulls or something, it was insane, we walked through the carnage and helped where we could, I must have given mouth to mouth countless times, but to no avail, there where no survivors. we left when the rescue services arrived and went to the pub to remember the victims with a drink.

centerlink

Today I am at work. This may surprise some of you as I have never been known for my enthusiastic work ethic. The fact I am posting this from work shows just how slow things are moving today.

Funny story about "Centerlink" (Australians welfare system) I earn under $40,000 a year and so me and my partner are intituled to a payment of around $300 a fortnight (well my partner is, not me), any who to asses if we are eligible they needed my Tax File Number, they sent us a letter saying that it is ok to give this to them over the phone, so the next day my partner called to give it to them, but they wouldn't take it... I am writing a letter to them to get a written apology. I will let you know what happens... because I'm am sure you care greatly.

To tell the truth I'm not that fussed that I couldn't give it to them over the phone, what really got to me was the fact that the actually told me I can in writing. so that means one of two things, they like to send misleading letters to people who are trying to do the right thing, or, they are so completely incompetent that they don't even know what they can and cant do... or the people they employ are just lazy and cant be bothered doing what they are paid to do...

Now there is a thought, centerlink employees, I was talking to one the other day, she works part time doing 4 shifts a week that are 6 hours long. nothing wrong with that... but the thing is, she makes MUCH more than I do and I work 5 shifts that are 8 hours long, I think its just plane wrong!!!
